Hunting Lodge Gates with Box Piers Code: ws - 10241
The Duke of Sutherland built a hunting lodge on his Staffordshire estate during the 1850’s. This was in fact a substantial property within extensive grounds in Victorian Tudor style.
These gates were designed for the current owner and have bluebell motifs within the design because of the large quantity of bluebell flowers within the wood behind.
At 12ft width and 11ft high these gates are designed for underground automation with substantial foundation ironwork. In solid section they are extremely heavy and have particularly attractive details in the dog bars and oval lock bar designs.
