Scale: 4600 by 2131mm
Two pairs of large, solid and heavy country gates designed with a special hinge that enables the gates to be opened fully and rest against the supporting walls. This allows vehicles to pass through the opening and then turn immediately to the right or left without colliding with the gates.

Before the walls were built a supporting steel post was secured within the brick piers with a protruding solid steel section of 50mm square. The upper hinge was designed to slip over this section with a steel plate to fix against the brickwork.
