Cheveley Rectory Gates Code: ws - 10181

By Warren from the English school of smiths, 17th to 18th century, the Cheveley gates are both a beautiful and practical example of English ironwork design.

The original gates probably by Warren, these 18th century gates have a finely wrought and detailed overthrow. This time in rectangular form, they have the height necessary for farm and household vehicles to pass through without difficulty.

Rendered in square steel section, the piers have dramatic scrolling rear support brackets that contribute to the considerable strength of the structure.
