12ft width gates inspired by the originals at Clandon park. The gates to Clandon Park, also probably by Warren are a brilliant example of 18th century ironwork.
The influence of Tijou, Europe’s greatest blacksmith, can be seen in the gadroon and acanthus leaf border on the base of the overthrow.
This overthrow with its spectacular detail of large waved branches of laurel and tendrils make these gates a powerful statement.
